Nope, those filters aren't stopping the pop-ups for me in either Chrome or Edge with either the most recent AB or ABP.

@intense, thanks! The last two filters are doing the trick in Chrome. Looks like all three are needed in Edge (with $elemhide).

Hi. Those filters are no longer working in Chrome or Edge with either AdBlock or ABP (latest versions of all; cache and cookies clean). @smed79, your filter blocks the ads but leaves "Report this ad" and the ad space. @intense, your filters block the ads completely. (Chrome) Thanks, guys!

How do you come up with these?? As you may have guessed by now, I'm good with general troubleshooting, haven't had time to even come close to mastering filter rules yet. Sigh.

Well, those filters stopped the pop-up. Still getting the sidebar ads in Chrome with AdBlock 3.2.1, or with ABP 1.12.2, or with uBO 1.9.10. Again, cleared cache/cookies, reset settings.

Nope, still there in Chrome with AdBlock, even after clearing cache/cookies/browsing history (for good measure), new profile, settings reset. Same results in ABP 1.12.2 and uBO 1.9.10.

Users are reporting that for the past couple of days, promoted tweets from Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are getting through ad blockers on Twitter.com. I saw one myself. Dismissed it before getting a screenshot, sorry. I can't find any other reports. Have you guys heard anything about this?

Blast. Still seeing them in Chrome with a new user profile, Chrome settings reset, cleared cache and cookies, in either AdBlock or ABP. What else am I missing?

@BaronHK, I'm the Community Manager for AdBlock, so I tend to use that ad blocker a lot.
