Rick, I added that 196.regvista.com to my filter list for security. let me know here or where ever if you decide to add it to your list so I can remove mine. I was afraid it was something like that.

Don't know if you only wanted an answer from Rick, but I'll post a reply anyway. I visited the site and it does hang on external data coming in. But it does this even when you disable adblock plus. So it's something with the site itself not adblock plus or Rick's list.

http://www.programme-tv.tv The advertisement (flash banner) above the page is not blocked by your filters, while it is blocked by adblock.free.fr's filters. I'm not seeing a flash banner ad on that page. I disabled the element blocking list just to make sure and still seen no flash ad. PS I don't h...

I agree Brad, while adblock plus 0.7.x with Rick's filterset does a great job of blocking ads, NoScript is a MUST have for blocking bad stuff that adblock doesn't cover, nor should it. If you look at the last vulnerabilities in Firefox all but one used javascript to work. With NoScript I have no wor...

This sounds like a good idea, but don't they just need access to the filter list when it's posted publicly and then they can change their site?? If you don't publish it, then it kind of defeats the purpose. I know that some of the discussions don't need to be public, but in the end they more then li...

LOL That's what I meant you could add mods. I wondered why it was richsterling.com, but you went by Rick.

PS Is easylist filterset Rick's list or Rich's list? Both? wow.. to many meds today I believe.

You own this board though, right? I mean you pay for the site so you could install some spam catching mods if you had to, right? We can't on the adblock plus forums. And no problem I was glad I could help. Sorry it came to a head yesterday when I wasn't able to be right at the PC and then last night...

by the way that is checked by default. You would have had to unchecked it for it to have become a problem.

Yea, I agree different ones had their own strengths. A combo of them would be nice. But, not bad at for amateurs basically.

I like the drama queen most because I thought it would be the one that most (currently) non-Firefox user could understand and relate too. Of those 3 anyway.

@IceDogg After you listed your sites, I know why my */adlog.* hits a lot .... CNet/ZDNet uses them like 7 to a page. You must hit pretty good on them. Yea your right on that. cnet has tons of ads. Glad I don't see any of them..or I wouldn't visit them anymore. The one I listed above with all the hi...

Mines */adframe* (2500 hits) with 4x the hits of the next highest. Maybe we should list our most visited links too? One thing that might make a difference, is I use NoScript which makes googlesyndication and others like it, useless for the most part. Because I don't allow javascript on sites. I have...
