Re: PC World's "Full Disclosure" column

Do you realize that this makes me want to actually purchase a copy of PC World magazine? This is the kind of of integrity that makes me want to read something. Stephen Manes is the "computer curmudgeon" columnist. He's brutally honest about hardware and software, much to the manufacturer'...

New Mozilla releases

I'm wondering, why does the main page still say 2.0.0.0 and I have this version and when I do a check for updates it claims non available? It takes Mozilla at least half a day to fully update their systems for a new release. I spotted Thunderbird 2.0.0.4 on File Hippo this morning. Then I went to M...

Sweet! I fired up Yahoo Maps and saw that the ad in the lower left corner is now gone. Great job, Wladimir! :D

Google Analytics isn't in the EasyList or EasyElement filters. You asked for it, you got it

If two extensions can collide there should be an alert somewhere, IMHO. This is not a case of two extensions colliding. You deliberately install AdBlock Plus, for the express purpose of removing ads. You subscribe to filtering lists so you don't have to build your own. You know that ABP is there (a...

No wonder I had trouble trying to isolate the string to block.

How to block the ESPN video

I assume that you're talking about the ESPN Motion ad/news feed. I don't think there's any way to block just the ad without taking out the news feed, too.
