The site uses Instart Logic.

The logger entry means that uBO has injected a filter that aborts the variable "_wm3".
The site has removed the variable "_wm3", so the filter does abort ... nothing.

Me too, I opened the logger by first opening the uBO options page via the Edge extension page, then disabled the advanced user option, after that the dropdown menu worked on my end. The next difficulty is that the reload function in the logger appears to be broken, basically the uBO-Edge fork is not...

Debugging with the Edge version of uBO is rather cumbersome and buggy, anyway

I have the same issue with most videos hosted at thevideo.me/io, I would say about 80% of them will not work on my end.

To be clear, the filters I added deal with popups and crypto-mining.
I get the "media could not be loaded error" but I get the same error if I disable uBO completely, so I can't add any filter for that issue.

Error occurs with or without flash.

Update your uBO-filter list.

OK, now I can reproduce , the sites source code changed, they actually deliberately changed it to break thumbnails if you use

Site works fine on my end, all thumbnails work properly using uBO, tested with Chrome and Firefox.

As you can see in your screenshot, you are not using uBlock Origin, you are using uBlock.
The issue is fixed, on my end, using uBlock Origin with or without a swiss IP.
