since many will go to it while looking to install uBO
Googling uBlock and the very first result is the Extension/Addon from gorhill, not to mention, uBO's preview wiki page from wikipedia, that's more than enough to let newbies know what's what.

To quote gorhill -- "Just see the other "uBlock" as a scammy version, just like many others found in the Chrome store with "uBlock" in their name." I will just leave it at that.

That's from uBlock Origin, scriptlets which are used to inject can be found here As for the reason, it's an experiment of trial and error.

Is there a reason why expires periods differ?
To NOT overwhelm the servers with rapidfire requests with shorter periods.

Re: 9anime.is

That looks like a tabunder. If you're on Chrome, browse to chrome://flags/#enable-block-tab-unders and set it to Enabled. That will disable the redirection which you have been facing, a popup will still occur. The tabunder is already patched on uBO, so I can't reproduce.

Re: Anyone tried Google Chrome's adblock?

You can keep it on, it doesn't matter. It doesn't work like other adblockers so it doesn't interfere. I have said this before. If you want to use google's implementation, then disable your blocker extension, otherwise you can keep both of them ON and only the extension will work.

Not required, I am blocking disqus in my custom filter list and i still can play the video.
Are you sure it's being blocked ? A whitelist could prevent the blocking and it's required on my end apparently. It's broke if I don't whitelist that javascript.

Ultimately Google wants to discourage the use of content blockers, so this is all a ruse, nothing more.
