I understood the problem ... what confused me was the proposed solution.

But my previous question still remains. Is this site "big" enough to warrant a block in the EasyList .. or should a user just add a general whitelist for that subdomain. Like: ?

I understand that ... but allowing "banking.ing-diba.de" does not work on a domain that is called "dblp.mpi-inf.mpg.de". I was just wondering whether this is actually from somewhere else. What is that site for anyway? Is it a site worth fixing here ... or something that the user ...

How does the domain exception rule do anything for that page ... they are not the same. It does nothing.

Are you using Adblock or Adblock Plus? Are you still using the Fiterset.g filters too? Why would we host g's filters? .... no one here is going to maintain them. They are not recommended for ABP and haven't been updated for a year. That whole filter project has been dead! Where is this reuters video...

I think the ad is actually part of the video feed. If that's the case, then nothing can be done.

I hate to say it ... but those ARE ads. If you want to look at ads, then either 'allow' the site or disable ABP for it.

You can't use an adblocker and then complain that you can't see ads ... that just makes no sense. just whitelist the sites.
