outlook.live.com

Post by gottabethebest1 »

As of a few days ago Outlook inbox auto-filters all emails. Emails show up after logging in, but they quickly disappear within a few seconds. I checked Adblock itself, updated it, and toggled the other filter lists, but it looks like the issue is definitely EasyList. It's only blocking emails in the inbox, no other boxes.

Code: Select all

https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/

Adblock Plus, Version 3.16.2 (though it also happened when I went back to v13.2)
Filter lists are: ABP filters,
EasyList,
EasyPrivacy,
Fanboy's Notifications Blocking List,
Fanboy's Social Blocking List, and
I don't care about cookies
Custom filter: outlook.live.com##.kk1xx._Bfyd.DVTER.yedzL.ypzld.YmHO2.MxMxG (I tried removing this as well)
Firefox 111.0.1
MacOS Ventura 13.3
Other extensions: Bookmark Toolbar Menu Button v1.4,
Bypass Paywalls Clean v2.8.4.0,
Control Panel for Twitter v3.3.3,
Highlight or Hide Search Engine Results v4.2.1,
Return YouTube Dislike v3.0.0.8, and
uBlacklist v8.2.7

I have also begun to see this issue, but perhaps with a slightly different twist. The messages in my (ancient) hotmail Inbox appear for a couple of seconds then they disappear. After a little while they appear again and the disappearing happens again after a few seconds. This cycle repeats for as long as I care to leave the window open displaying the Inbox. It isn't possible to open any message during the short time that they are displayed. As stated in the original post, this only happens in the Inbox. All other folders behave as they always have.

I am using Chrome Version 112.0.5615.50 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Not an outlook user, but without more info or steps for breakage. Unlikely it'll be fixed.
