When you are able to reproduce the popups, just submit an issue report (using ABP + firefox):

Then post here the report link.
It would be better do this using only ABP (disabling all other addons).

i did that but since i use ublock instead of adblock they couldn't help me. they referred me to this forum. i use ublock because adblock stopped supporting firefox, and has memory leaks. ublock uses Easylist, though.

I just tried ABP again, and i still get popups. there is no "report issue on this page" in the context menu, though.

Hmm, the redirect/popup is back again, but it doesn't happen for every click. Go to a gallery and click some images until you get the redirect. Also, how do you figure out what the code is? Maybe you can teach me how to find it too.

I cannot update UBO because it breaks in firefox 56, or something along those lines. It's been a while since I tried a newer version of firefox but it always results in broken addons that I need. Anyway, I have UBO 1.13.8 and I tried adding those filters from the link you provided but they don't seem to fix anything. Here's what I have:

Funny, people tell me to abandon older versions of FF, but as soon as I update, lots of things break, not just addons. Have you seen the newer Noscript? It's one of the least user friendly things I've ever tried. The new FF doesn't work with Menu Wizard, Save Image In Folder, Greasemonkey (Or Stylish, I use a lot of Stylish scripts). The experience is just horrible really.
I just removed the plus signs, and it does seem to stop the popups but on the other hand, the images are no longer large/fullsize.
