I have the same problem on this site but I've been able to block it. Cloudflare is good for something I guess.

I've been running into the same issue as OP -- out of curiosity is there anything that can be done to get around the slow loading? Or do you guys think the issue will be solved anytime soon? Thanks!

Running into trouble adding EasyList to Little Snitch. When trying to add

LittleSnitch shows a spinning animation for a few minutes and then complains about a timeout.

Wondering if this is still the load coming from an indian ISP / app as mentioned in here which seems to have started to cause trouble in mid September.

when i try to "manually" update the easlists blocklists from within the "ublock origin" browser-extension, they are not updating.

for example, the easylist blocklist was last updated today, 10/22/2022, but, when i view the blocklist from within the "ublock origin" browser-extension, it shows as last being updated on 10/20/2022, or 10/19/2022, in one of my browsers. and, yes, this is after trying to manually update the blocklists. i try to keep the blocklists up-to-date by manually updating them each day.

i am seeing the same problem with all of my browsers ie firefox, chrome, MS edge-chromium.

the problem is only with the easylist blocklists. the other blocklists that i use are properly updated when i update them.

i use firefox as my default browser.

on another note, frequently, when i try to post in the forum, i see a message saying that my IP address has been blocked because it is blacklisted by spamhaus.

maybe that is why the easylist blocklists are not being updated on my computer, because of spamhaus's idiotic blacklist?

Those two things aren't related unfortunately. I'd be happy to run a mirror for the filters here if it helps.

i want to repeat that there is an issue with the updating of the easylist blocklists.

in "ublock origin," the timestamp for the easylist blocklist shows 10/20 as the date, but the easylist was last updated on 10/23. the easylist blocklist is not being properly updated.

my guess is that the problem is that the blocklist is pointing to "https://secure.fanboy.co.nz/easylist.txt" for its updates instead of pointing to https://easylist.to/easylist/easylist.txt.

i also mentioned that there was an issue where, sometimes, my posts in the forum are blocked, with a message saying that my IP address in on the spamhaus blocklist.

according to spamhaus, virtually every enduser's IP address in on spamhaus's blocklist. the reason is to prevent endusers from sending spam-email directly from their computers.

the spamhaus blocklist is not intended to be used for preventing endusers from posting in forums.
