Yes, seems to work.
Thank you.
No only the redirect is missing.
Whenever I see it I'll try to report it, I guess you get it only once in a while, like the intermissions.

Adblock now disables webms and the search bar on the start page (the one you get for http://gelbooru.com).
Unfortunatelly I solved the problem before thinking about saving the content that must be unblocked to get the webms, and it doesn't appear in the list now, so I don't know how to get it back.
But it's something with "video".
For the search bar allow this:

Code: Select all

gelbooru.com##center > div[style]:last-child

Site is Gelbooru.com, pages with legitimate WebMs are being blocked while ads at the bottom of the page are not. With Easylist unchecked, the WebMs reappear.

Pages look like this: http://i.imgur.com/M6uP0hu.png

When it should look like this: http://i.imgur.com/bHg0i7r.png

test these filters

Code: Select all

||gelbooru.com/script/frontend_loader.js

Code: Select all

gelbooru.com##video
is still in there, which will block legitimate webms. You can test on this page (NSFW): http://www.gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=3300377

There is a legitimate video on the page, and an ad below the comment section. Ideally you block the ad and not the video with something like

Code: Select all

##a[href^="http://refer.ccbill."] > video
But the html has changed a bit over the past couple of days, they might change it again...

For some reason Google reCAPTCHA is not appearing under any circumstances when trying to post a reply, it only appears when I try to make a new topic. Anyway, this following code seems to be working in regards to removing ads and keeping legitimate WebMs, however the search bar is still missing. It reappears with EasyList unchecked.

Code: Select all

gelbooru.com#@#video
||gelbooru.com/script/frontend_loader.js
gelbooru.com##A[href^="http://refer.ccbill"]

I've been trying to add the whitelist for the search bar but when I click to add it on chrome, it adds it to black list instead when I'm doing it from the whitelisted domains tab. Has anyone else had this problem using google chrome?

gelbooru.com##center > div[style]:last-child

Trying to add this to whitelisted but clicking on add domain in the Whitelisted domains tab adds it to the add your own filters tab instead. Doesn't do that to other gelbooru domains added to the whitelist.

If this ends up creating a new topic, I apologize, as I was trying to.. circumvent a bug. Trying to reply in the topic in question was impossible as the reCAPTCHA was failing to appear on the reply page, but not in the "new topic" page. Some kinda missing code, from what I saw in my attempts to figure it out. viewtopic.php?f=64&t=31945 This topic, namely, is the one I'm trying to post in, for reference.

That pre-apology out of the way.. The search bar is still not visible on gelbooru.com, and it's quite a vital function of the site.

Merge please still can't post to the other NSFW Gelbooru topic without having to create a new topic first due to the reCAPTCHA bug. Anyway, the previous code I quoted above is now moot, as WebMs are back to being blocked on the site, and the search bar is still not appearing either.

unblocking the search function:

Code: Select all

gelbooru.com#@#center > div[style*="overflow:"]

Here's a SFW (other than the ads, those are NSFW) example page (obviously don't follow any links on the site or you'll get to NSFW content):

Code: Select all

http://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=3236028
This demonstrates the blocking of .webm content pretty clearly. I narrowed it down to two filters: the gelbooru.com##center > div[style*="overflow:"] filter blocks the div container, and then if you disable that, the gelbooru.com##span > [class][style] filter blocks the span that contains the video itself. Disabling both of these filters restores the content and I didn't notice it restoring any ads.

Edit:

For some reason when I try adding that to my whitelisted domains it puts it in the blocked filters. There seems to be an annoying bug with chrome that puts domains with a certain syntax into blocked filters even if you are on the Whitelisted Domains tab and hit add domain.

just add
gelbooru.com#@#span > [class][style]
gelbooru.com#@#center > div[style*="overflow:"]

Given the admin is insisting to show ads, I wouldn't be surprised we'll need to change filters soon

Recently I noticed that I was unable to open the element picker mode in gelbooru.com in Chrome with ubu. In order to find out the cause of the issue I started out by disabling 3rd party filters(and My Filters) one at a time until I found out which filter was causing the issue. This pointed me to the EasyList filter. From there I copied all of the filters in that list which contained references to gelbooru and placed them into MyFilters. I again tested by disabling individual filters there in order to narrow down which filter was the cause of the problem and found out that it was the following filter:

Code: Select all

gelbooru.com,imagetwist.com##iframe[style]

You would appear to be correct about needing to change filters rather quickly. It looks like ads are getting back through again. This time it's not blocking enough.
Here's

Code: Select all

http://gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=list&tags=pokemon+official_art+magikarp+fish+rating%3asafe
about as SFW of a link as I could get that demonstrates it, but unfortunately the ad itself is actually NSFW so I can't really come up with a SFW link. The ad is below the search results.

I tried to block that specific element, but everything I tried ended up also blocking webm animations. refer back to the earlier link for an example of a SFW webm from the website.

Edit: the rule

Code: Select all

gelbooru.com##DIV[style="width:1000px;"]
seems to block the ad for now without blocking webm content, but I doubt it'll last.

Ok, the redirect is back.
I don't know what causes it.

to see correctly the left side bar and to block the ad at the bottom

Code: Select all

gelbooru.com#@#div > a[href][rel="nofollow"]
gelbooru.com##[href*="ccb"]
