My site and all of my client sites are broken by AdBlocker and the filter list here at EasyList.

All of them are either directly hosted on or use WordPress plugins for ClickFunnels.com, a website building tool.

It is not an ad network. No one can buy ads from them as they don't sell ads.

Also, there are over 30,000 customers using this website builder to one degree or another, so this a major issue for a lot of people.

What can we do to resolve this issue?

Thank you for your time & consideration.

Morgan

Todd Dickerson, Co-Founder of ClickFunnels here.

Tyler is correct, ClickFunnels is a website builder (except currently over 45,000 paying customers)..

There is a tracking script located @
https://app.clickfunnels.com/assets/userevents/application.js and https://app.clickfunnels.com/cf.js if you must block something

But currently you are blocking images, static CSS, JS, etc

If you need anything or have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

While I prefer not to reveal customer pages and would like them to do that themselves here instead.

Clickfunnels is an amazing ad-free website building platform and I agree it should not be blocked.

Here is an example of a website built with ClickFunnels:

Clickfunnels is a landing page builder and has nothing to do with ads.

For example I built this free training in ClickFunnels and now I'm getting constant complaints that my free training is unreachable because of Adblocker removing the images, CSS and video:

https://freetraining.ultimatecpaexamguide.com/BN-Self-Study-Anxious-Lone-Ranger

Please remove Clickfunnels from your filter ASAP! I'm losing money!

My site is affected by this:

http://trafficchampions.com

Question: do I need to list every client website here? All of them use ClickFunnels so it's all the same root issue.

well, there are a lot of examples, now the easylist authors have to see the thread and probably remove the wrong filter.

This is a volunteer site: rules#about
Read: Nobody is getting paid to do this and you're not paying money either.

I'm sure the EasyList authors get the idea by now. The only thing that's going to happen ASAP is removal of you posting privileges.

You all have been warned. Next person to say ASAP will have to wait a few months to post a reply.

Your site works in both ABP + Firefox and UBO + Chrome. Have one of your users post an issue report: https://adblockplus.org/en/getting_star ... -negatives and post the link here.

You can always have you users put in a workaround:

Code: Select all

@@||clickfunnels.com^$third-party
until one of the authors makes things more permanent.

All I ask is be patient and be civil I know it's a touchy subject and I know some of you aren't making money because of it.

This is definitely not good. ClickFunnels is a life saver software and simply cannot be blocked!

All of my websites are affected:

Clickfunnels is a webpage builder. Blocking this script breaks functionality on its pages without letting the user know what the problem is.

You can see an example of how it breaks the quiz on this page (not mine):

https://inspiringhealthuk.com/quiz-page

Log:

Code: Select all

script
https://app.clickfunnels.com/cf.js
Static filter ||clickfunnels.com/cf.js found in: EasyPrivacy

I looked at the quiz with or without filter enabled and I see no breakage. Furthermore EasyPrivacy is an optional subscription on most adblockers, either way it can be disabled if needed.

Todd Dickerson, Co-Founder of ClickFunnels here.

ClickFunnels is a website builder with currently over 60,000 paying customers

Currently you are blocking images, static CSS, JS, etc from one of our asset domains (clickfunnel.com) (singular version)
We're working to migrate users to use their own domains for assets but in the mean time some users still are using this shared asset domain.

If you need anything or have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

While I prefer not to reveal customer pages and would like them to do that themselves here instead.

Some examples of pages:

Code: Select all

Thanks @intense this time it's actually the singular version, you guys helped out and handled the plural previously but we also used the singular for assets at one point and it's cached across tons of pages.
