I still can not reproduce ! Try:
Code: Select all
xda-developers.com##[-abp-properties='data:']
or
Code: Select all
xda-developers.com##[-abp-properties='*:728px;']

I haven't been getting those ads recently but as far as I can tell the second filter should hide the image ads. Can you tell me what is this tag
-abp-properties
that you are using in the above filters?

Thanks for the additional info, I can see that they are still testing these CSS syntax.

search easylist:
https://easylist-downloads.adblockplus.org/easylist.txt
there are already filters abp-properties like
examples:
gelbooru.com##[-abp-properties='*: *;base64,']
allkpop.com,forum.xda-developers.com##[-abp-properties='data:']

So these filters are being used as a last resort for the really nasty sites?

for the sites using random named divs / classes

I can see this being useful on many sites, its great to see that ABP is still developing things under the hood.

Ads are displayed on all XDA subforums such as:
Code: Select all
https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-xl/development
The SPAN ID and CLASS seem to appear dynamic, as blocking them manually is inefective.

I'm getting ads on the XDA forum despite selecting them and hiding them. They pop up on the right side mostly. Sometimes theres one ad on top of another. I got the latest Firefox for Windows and ADB Plus 2.9.1.
Below is a screenshot with the ads circled in red:

Here's the site:
Code: Select all

Looks like uBO works! Should I uninstall ABP and continue to use uBO?

Yes you don't want to use 2 Ad Blockers as they'll conflict and case issues.

Black unfortunately ABP has not enough weapons for this type of circumvention.
Install uBo.
