The ABP counter is going nuts in Facebook - around 60,000 ads per minute (1000 every 10 seconds). I've blocked over 3 million ads. It's also making the Facebook tab extremely unresponsive. I've updated, restarted my computer.
When I click my name (my "newsfeed") it stops climbing but when I click Home, it screams along.

I found that disabling the EasyPrivacy list stops the madness.

ABP version ?
browser version ?

What filter lists are enabled in ABP ?
Do you have any custom filter for FB ?

You have to test also keeping only ABP enabled and all other extensions OFF

Chrome Version 62.0.3202.94 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I did have several other extensions enabled. After reading your reply I disabled every extension except ABP and reenabled EasyPrivacy - same issue.

I do have custom filters. Ugh. I tried removing custom filters and ended up deleting everything (downloaded lists). Still had the problem.
Since I'd mucked everything up, I removed and reinstalled ABP and have no issues with only EasyList which is installed and enabled when I reinstalled (1 ad blocked).

Added EasyPrivacy List and immediately have the same problem.
Disabled EasyList (the only other list I have now) still have the same problem.

So, with EasyPrivacy as the ONLY list and the only extension enabled ABP, is when I have the issue.

keep only easyprivacy, select only the blocked items, post here the blocked elements and the filter triggered (especially the repeated blocked element which you can see also in the browser console)
