From Wikipedia's "Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal (SMBC)" article: "In most comics you can now see a bonus joke by hovering over a red button with the mouse."

Although in the sample page I mentioned, you have to click (instead of hover) on the red button to show the bonus joke. See the encircled part in red of the screenshot in my initial post to see where the red button / bonus joke appears.
