putlocker.sk

Post by voxelsprite »

Popup ads appear by creating an invisible element over the website. When you click anywhere, it creates an advertisement in a new tab and removes the element.

The website is

Code: Select all

https://putlocker.sk
The popups generally happen once a show is selected. For this reason, I'm linking a random show below to test with:

Code: Select all

https://putlocker.sk/watch/house-md-2.kk49/q8z953
Below are these two "div class" items. They are somehow related to the way the popup is activated. They refresh constantly, and every time you refresh the page, they go under a new class name. The style stays the same. This element disappears once you activate the popup, and reappears a few minutes later once the popup is ready to be activated again.

I don't have a virus or malware. This is the only website this happens on. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for the response, and sorry for the late response. This filter prevents the ad from staying open, but the ad still opens for a second and closes. Is there a way to completely remove the element from the page, so it doesn't open whatsoever?

Use uBo and add this filter:

Code: Select all

putlocker.sk##script:inject(abort-current-inline-script.js, parseInt, tabunder)

This worked, I believe. Thank you so much! I'll reply with another message if I find any issues.

Would this same script work on Adblock (Regular, not Plus)? It's the one I've been using, but it seems that uBo would work just as well.

Thanks in advance!

No, AB / ABP (which are using both the same engine) have no (script) injecting features (are more ...classic, no advanced weapons for the last sophisticated threats). Use uBo and disable other adblocker.
