AdChoices and Taboola ads are back on MSN.com in Chrome. The previous workaround, deleting msn.com cookies on exiting Chrome, is apparently no longer working. This is with the latest stable release of Chrome, all cookies deleted and the cache cleared, in AdBlock, ABP, and the dev version of ABP (each tested separately, with and without the standard filter for Taboola, ||taboola.com^).

When applying that fix, the Taboola ads seem to disappear but then an obnoxious Viglink box appears right in the middle of the content with their own ads.
The stuff that MSN/Taboola are deploying seems very hostile now. I'm not sure if a userscript will eventually be needed to block this.

too many ads on msn.com, g00 crap, nothing helped, even not those rules above.
try replacing the last filter with
Code: Select all
@@/^((?!revsci.net|advertising.com|googlesyndication.com|adnxs.com|amazon-adsystem|2mdn.net|media.net|chartbeat.com|quantserve.com|indexww.com|taboola.com|krxd.net|nexac.com|imrworldwide.com|googletagmanager.com|scorecardresearch.com|google-analytics.com|openx.net).)*$/$script,image,other,media,domain=msn.com

I can't do anything because there is a whitelist on everything, their all ads are whitelisted, why?
and why aren't we blocking their clicks with $popup?
**** them, let's kill their click

intense, the following filters are blocking the pictures, but not the ad containers, in Chrome 60 with AdBlock 3.15.0, AdBlock Premium 3.3.2, and ABP 1.13.3 (all tested separately), Acceptable Ads off (of course):
Code: Select all
