How exactly does the "EasyList without rules for adult sites" filter list differ from the standard one?

Does the Standard One filter out pornography. So nude images will not be displayed?

Does the Adult Sites one not filter adverts on adult web sites?

I'm not clear what the Adult Sites list does. Does one filter so that my kids will be able to surf the web without danger of porn being shown?

The standard version of EasyList specifically filters out adverts that appear on adult websites - the "content" is still displayed. EasyList without rules for adult websites does not specifically remove adverts from adult websites, but may do so incidentally due to the presence of general rules.

Generally, I would not advise using Adblock Plus to forcibly limit access to content as the add-on is too easily disabled. Extensions or programs specifically designed for censorship offer slightly more secure solutions, although a determined person could bypass any imposed controls with a little research.
