Hi smed79,
Thanks for the response. Definitely agree, that first example is crossing the line a little. The HubSpot CTA tool is simply a button builder, customers use it to create redirect buttons (or image) on their website to bring people to a blog post, or landing page, usually to download a resource like an ebook.
In this case the customer definitely created something more like an advertisement, but the other 99.99% of customers create very simple "Learn more" or "Download now" type buttons. e.g.,
Code: Select all
https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/2951156/2419bfb8-e9f0-4f0f-bbd9-ddb6a014c5eb.png
Given that the tool is not an advertisement tool, we're in a situation where a lot of customers are impacted, their buttons aren't rendering anymore so their visitors can't get the resources in question. We're currently working with this particular customer to remove their implementation and find a better solution. Is it possible to have the blacklist removed in this case, to restore functionality for the other 99.99% of good players?
We're definitely eager to work with you to find a solution. Perhaps we could make the blacklist more specific, to be
Code: Select all
https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/168374/*
this would block that specific customer's implementation but ensure that everyone else isn't impacted.
Thanks,
Antonios
