https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1286822
Schöner wär es wenn ABP auch diese Möglichkeit anbieten würde sowie "Skriptinjection", dann kann man bessere Filter für alle schreiben.

The filter is working. What's the problem ?

The inject-scripts solutions should be applied only in very complex cases.

The "problem" seems to be that inject /contains filters seem to not be a standard that works across UBO,AdGuard and ABP consistently and therefore are part of the special Ublock Assets filter list.

Meanwhile, there is another issue with sueddeutsche. It seems to actively lock out ad block users, see here: https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets/issues/174

The filter by intense does not work if you're using a script blocking addon (NoScript, uMatrix). More details can be found here: https://github.com/uBlockOrigin/uAssets ... -255805499

The solution by Lessie Hendriks on the other side gets down to the root of the trouble and directly blocks the anti-adblock script. However, I can understand that you want to avoid this, because it's going to be destandardized - thanks to phony WHATWG who is completely in the pocket of Google. And Google doesn't like it, which is obvious, since Google is part of the advertisement system itself and therefore has no interest in users having a powerful weapon against ads.

@keri, gorhill said:
Should avoid using script:contains, ability to block execution of specific inline script tags will be removed in Firefox: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1286822.
also:
I stopped creating ...##script:contains(...) fitlers, now I favor what works on all browsers.

I know that that Intense, i have to express though what i would like to see, aka a common syntax across all applications so that list authors don't need to keep their filters to the lowest common denominator.

If firefox removes that feature, well .. nobody will can inject anymore scripts to fight at the root with the various tricks. So, the "lowest" will remain the normal way to fight this battle.

Holy crap! Totally agree with intense. Those script event handlers are pretty much the last chance to prevent the execution of unwanted code. I just published a few lines of code relying on beforescriptexecute to mitigate the latest AdBlock landing page on sueddeutsche.de.

And the discussion on https://github.com/whatwg/html/issues/943 is too emotional as well to find a good solution for the future.

Die bisherigen Tipps helfen seit heute nicht mehr, offenbar wurde etwas am Seitencode verändert.

Ich behelfe mir nun mit

Code: Select all

www.sueddeutsche.de##script:contains(adblockLandingPageEnabled)
