Http login page

Post by terrorist96 »

Every now and then I'll receive an email for a reply to my topic and the link will be http and not https. So when I click it, it loads an http login page. Is this a known issue?

If you go here: http://forums.lanik.us/ucp.php?mode=login does it automatically redirect you to the https version? It does for me.

If you could post the email minus your information that would be helpful also.

Thanks,

Since I'm hosting this site on a shared host I have to use HSTS: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_Stri ... t_Security

Please be sure you're on a supported browser: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=20539#p65803

I see what you mean now. I don't think Chrome on Android supports HSTS. I suggest you post on your computer (if you have one) or change the links to https manually. I've changed the links on the board already to https.

OK, so any future emails should have https in the URL, correct?

Yes I think so, but since I don't subscribe to topic updates I have no way of testing that out. I'm sure you'll tell me if it doesn't work. :)
