They weren't ... and some topic icons and uploaded images still aren't.

Sorry everyone everything is working again. I was looking at cPanel and did something I shouldn't have.

I'm trying to implement refer URL blocking and lets just say it didn't go so well, especially when I made changes in cPanel.

Are there problems currently? or is this just something for future safeguarding?

No problems right now. People like to spam the web sites via refer URLs so when I look through my logs I see lots and lots of sites with ads for you name it. Anything from college degrees to porn to meds, the usual garbage. I'm not making any changes tonight until I figure out exactly how to do it properly. I can always use another of my sites for testing so no big deal.

The images seem to be missing again (for me anyway). I am not seeing any images apart from various avatars (No emotions and no post reply button).
Hey if you've added a subdomain (like forums.lanik.us), then you can Disable/(Re)Enable Hotlink Protection and matching entries will be added to your .htaccess, automatically - and once you've disabled it and the page reloads - the new values (URLs) will also be visible in the cPanel Hotlink Protection list-box..:)Lanik wrote:I've been playing around with hotlink protection so let me disable it and see where we're at.
