Private Messages From Formerly Registered Users

I recently noticed that two private messages I had received from people who used to be registered on the forums have defaulted to being sent by "Anonymous". This would not be an issue, were it not for the fact they are also listed as having 3010 posts at the time of writing. Would it please be possible for private messages, once a user has been deleted, to be assigned to a guest account of the same name with no posts recorded?

There doesn't appear to be any easy solution to the problem mentioned; I have therefore ignored the very minor and comparatively rare issue.
