ABP Forum Stopped Allowing Guest Posting?

Browsing the ABP forum and I noticed it's no longer possible to post there as guest?
Anyone here know why they made that change? I can't find anything about this in the issue tracker or the forum.

(Not that I have something I'd like to say there at the moment, but given that I use a personal fork of Adblock Plus the overwhelming majority of the time, I wouldn't post enough on that forum to warrant creating an account IMO. All I'd post there would be the occasional non-EasyList filter question or JavaScript Deobfuscator question, both of which are really quite rare for me...)

well, there are a lot of idiots (spammers) ... but that measure does not stop them on ABP forum.

W.Palant does not want to update the phpbb forum to the last features (or to apply the same measures as in this forum - I mean moderate the new users for the first posts).
They (ABP team) want to migrate to a new type of forum (Discourse), but ...nothing new for now

Thanks for replying but that doesn't explain it - that's a partial list of possible reasons it's not. My first guess was that it might be intended as a troll deterrent... but I didn't run across a large number (any) of anon troll posts either, so guess that's not it either :?

Non, encore je ne sais pas pourquoi ils ont cessé permettre poster anonyme...

FWIW looks like the last guest post was https://adblockplus.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=29685...
OTOH, it came a oddly long time after https://adblockplus.org/forum/viewtopic ... 10&t=29110 - that post and before are all a LOT more closely spaced chronologically than the time gap between the last & to next-to-last guest posts...
