I've read about a device being developed that blocks unwanted stuff "as it comes in the building".. Therefore, allowing all devices on the LAN to connect Ad free.. This includes tablets and mobiles.. Although I've paid for the Adblock browser on my iPad and hope it develops - it feels like an early release to me.. and it offers little user control
So, is it possible to filter 'in the modem' using Easy List?
I have access to the filter and domain filter dialogs through the web interface
Ad Trap and blocking in the router
You cannot attach an image here from your hard drive. Upload it to e.g. http://imgur.com/ and post its link here.
You can't exactly do that with EasyList, but a combination of pixelserv and a router-based HOSTS file and/or dnsmasq setup can do the trick: https://code.google.com/p/jansal/wiki/H ... mendations
Thanks arflech I'll give it a try..
