Another beautiful day in Upstate NY

A nice major ice storm greeted us last night into today.
The area received 1/2" to 1-1/2 inches of ice (we probably had around a half inch). I had to move the cars out of the driveway and put them on the front lawn because tree branches were breaking off and falling in the driveway. There are major power outages .... trees and power lines are down everywhere. We were lucky ... we only lost power for 5 hours this morning before it was restored. It took about an hour to get the thick ice off of the cars. The temperature is right at freezing but is expected to turn colder again. Welcome to winters in Upstate New York
This tree always makes me nervous when it gets heavy. A couple of large things went down in the stream bed just behind here.
