the banner isn't an add

I'm sorry about that.
The string that blocks that blocks many banner ads. If the directory was only */banner/* and not */banners/* .... or the image was a *.jpg and not a *.gif, this would not happen.
"Banners" is one of those "gray area" blocking strings that I am trying to either tweak better or get rid of. Right now, I am running with that filter disabled so I can see how much it misses.
But I simply cannot remove it (you are only the second false-positive I have receive since redoing that filter a while back). I cannot justify a whitelisting for it either as your site is just a small, local grammar school site.
What I CAN suggest is one of the following:
* Either move the logo out of the banners folder (it seems to be the only file associated with that folder anyway)
* Change the image format to a *.jpg file
* Or add the following whitelisting in your filters in Adblock Plus:
Site advice:
Being somewhat of a webmaster, graphics artist, and SEO, I would think that using real text for the school's name and address would be more desirable than an image, seeing that you are only making an image out of regular text. The search engines cannot read a picture when they are indexing your content .... and real text would be much more clear to view and print. The decision to make an image for standard regular text instead of using the text itself is an odd one.
