blob:$popup

Post by gg_sps »

We are developing a sales platform for insurance products that is used by our sales staff.
There is a section, where we show the users with a list of document.
When clicking "view document", a new tab is opened of the url:
blob:http://sameDomainAsInTheOtherTab/documentID

When having AdBlock enabled, the new tab is opened and directly closed again.
Active filter is: POPUP |blob:$popup EasyList

It seems a bit harsh, to generally block blobs URLs from opening in new tabs.
How can we navigate around this issue?
I would like to avoid adding domains for whitelisting in your list, as this is a whitelabel solution and we would have to think of doing this for every new tenant we setup.

probably you should provide the whole list of such domains (to be tested 1 by 1 - provide steps for test) and an easylist author will decide what to do

Unfortunately, my email to easylist.subscription @ gmail.com has not been answered yet.
Is anyone here able to answer and to explain how we need to setup the blob:$popup that is is not blocked?
