Hi, I am the developer at Wccftech. We write about technology products and trends. Sometimes, within our content, we link specific product names to their amazon urls. The urls also contain our amazon affiliate tag.
Those links used to appear like regular internal links. We recently thought it would serve our users better if we distinguish them as external links, so that people know what they are clicking on. This is what we came up with: https://pasteboard.co/GTEaDCp.png
Today, we discovered that ALL amazon links have been blocked from our site. This is the commit that did it: https://github.com/easylist/easylist/co ... abc0b67089
I am writing this to inquire what caused the blanket amazon ban on our website? Is it the way we were displaying product links? What can we do for this ban to be removed?
