Afternoon,
I've noticed our search widgets are being blocked on our partner sites when the EasyList is enabled in adblockers:
Example pages:
Code: Select all
https://www.topgear.com/car-reviews/ford/focus
http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/cars/
https://www.driving.co.uk/
http://www.reddrivingschool.com/
https://www.thesun.co.uk/motors/
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/motoringvideo/
Could you take a look an whitelist the widget to appear when on these domains.
Kind Regards
Rob

Code: Select all
@@||partners.autotrader.co.uk/widget/
topgear.com#@##autotrader-section

Hi intense, here are some more details after trying those filters
Code: Select all
@@||partners.autotrader.co.uk/widget/
(No Effect)
(Brought back the title and logo not the form)
Regards
Rob

Maybe only the registered users are able to see that widget (disabling the adblockers) ?
You should post here the log your adblocker produced on the telegraph page.
However, for the rest of pages above an easylist auhor has been notified.

Are you saying you still have issues even on the other pages (other than telegraph) using the filters above ?

Checked
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/motoringvideo/
Code: Select all
@@||partners.autotrader.co.uk/widget/
( on its own has No Effect)
but with
Code: Select all
@@||s.telegraph.co.uk/international/autotrader
it works
So need to add
Code: Select all
@@||partners.autotrader.co.uk/widget/
@@||s.telegraph.co.uk/international/autotrader
To fix the Telegraph
If an Easylist author can look at the other ones then that would be great.
Code: Select all
https://www.topgear.com/car-reviews/ford/focus
http://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/cars/
https://www.driving.co.uk/
http://www.reddrivingschool.com/
https://www.thesun.co.uk/motors/

Apologies intense, was just retesting all the page links. All of the partner pages will work as long as the following entries are added:
Code: Select all
@@||partners.autotrader.co.uk/widget/
@@||s.telegraph.co.uk/international/autotrader
topgear.com#@##autotrader-section

That's is correct, its a search widget which allows the user to specify a make model and postcode which directs them to the desired content on AutoTrader.

I can't see what should differentiate this so-called "widget" from an advertisement. The filters will not be removed.
