Hi guys,

Matt here from https://www.spot.im.

Our company provides commenting and user engagement tools to publishers across the web. Some being: AOL, Fox News, Playboy, Refinery29, and others. You can see what our product looks like and how it works here: https://docsend.com/view/p6ye5yj

We're getting multiple reports that Adblock and Adblock Plus is blocking our commenting system from displaying. Sites I've had reports on are Jerusalem Online and iWatchOnlineCR. Our system is simply for commenting and content recirculation platform like Disqus. It is not an advert requiring being blocked.

If you scroll down to the bottom of this news article with Adblock on it blocks our commenting system: http://www.jerusalemonline.com/news/politics-and-military/politics/lieberman-syria-knows-not-to-mess-with-israel-29458

Same goes for other articles we are on exc
ept these blocks are less frequent: https://www.aol.com/article/news/2017/07/01/us-deaths-by-police-gunfire-on-track-to-reach-1-000-in-2017-pap/23011860/

We like to see if there were a way for our platform to be unblocked. I apologize if I did this thread wrong, first time doing this. Thanks!

Hi,

Yes I see that, the one who wrote that "talm" is no longer with the company. We're still being blocked by your filters although we have no Adverts on some of our high traffic sites. How can we resolve this?

I'd hate to have to mass out to our clients and users guides on how to disable Adblock because you guys are blocking us. Is there a way we can be whitelisted? You guys don't block Disqus or Facebook comments. We are just a different theme, no ads here though. Thanks!

on jerusalemonline your spot is not directly blocked, it's a consequence (to fight some other advertising on the page)

if you add jerusalemonline.com#@#div > iframe:first-child
you'll see the spot stuff

Hi, I've fixed the problem for Jerusalemonline and Iwatchonline: https://github.com/easylist/easylist/co ... 99fbc8dd4d https://github.com/easylist/easylist/co ... 5df9acecc9
As Intense has already said, your service was accidentally blocked in an attempt to block some other unrelated advertisements, I apologize for the issue.

About Aol, I've looked into some of their pages, but I always seen your service being loaded correctly and available in any case, including in the link you've provided.
