False Positive: ? news.yahoo.com

Post by asmodeous »

When viewing news photos on yahoo and selecting multiple photos I do not see the photos. I see some of the headers and an empty blue/gray box which would normally contain the photos.

I am using the mysite.verizon.net/rick752/firefox/adblock_rick752.txt subscription updated Aug 3 2006 and easylist.adblockplus.org/easylist-element_rick752.txt subscription updated Aug 3 2006.

When I disable the element subscription the photos return on page refresh. I do not see any of the elements listed in Blockable items and dont know how to determine which filter might be causing the photos not to show up.

Any help in determining which filter causes this would be helpful. Any information on how to determine which element filter causes this would be helpful.

Here is a sample URL from Aug 3

Thanks for any information that can be shared.

Thanks asmodeous:

Turned out to be an element block that we though was ok.

That is one problem I hope will be fixed soon in adblock plus. I think WP plans to address this, and I can hardly wait.

The link looks great now. Dont think I would want to go to Antarctica to see the real thing but they are great pictures!
Thanks for the fix.
What element was causing the problem?
