sumo.com

Post by bgtrotter »

Sumome.com recently changed it's domain to sumo.com and uBlock Origin is blocking the sticky third party social share buttons and email subscribes list on websites.

I read here (https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/issues/270) that I should report the issue to Easy Privacy.

Can we add sumo.com to the whitelist?

Code: Select all

||sumo.com^$third-party

Note, that github issue ticket was from 2015, did you even test this?

ublock origin blocked accessing that address from "Peter Lowe’s Ad and tracking server list" on my side (still new to that addon but has rapidly become my adblock plus replacement). An override for that list would likely have to end up in "uBlock filters - Unbreak" which I think means it would be repoprted to ublock origin's github page.
Do you have any sample pages using sumo.com content within them to be further looked at?

If its Peter Lowes List, it should be addressed to there rather than Easylist.
