It's even mentioned in the description. It's definitely the programmers fault because the example game in the linked thread works just fine with ngads blocked. But anyway, I would suggest to remove the filter as the ads are still blocked with .cpmstar..

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/484931 for the official game page, which also gets horribly broken by the ngads rule. The game basically freezes until Flash prompts you to stop the script.
