Startribune.com Videos [white]
The little flash video player on the homepage of http://www.startribune.com isn't working when Adblock and the EasyList filter is turned on.
What little flash video? Am I overlooking something?
"Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it"
"Video" in the middle of the page next to "Multimedia".

I'm having a bizarre problem here. I cannot get a player to come up for the "Star Tribune" video even with ABP disabled ... yet the "Associated Press" video plays fine with ABP enabled without ANY whitelist. WTF?

Make sure the video tab is selected. Most of the time it comes up by default, but sometimes it doesn't.

This rule seems to work. Thanks a lot!Ares2 wrote:"Video" in the middle of the page next to "Multimedia".

Have you already tried it in Safe Mode?rick752 wrote:But I cannot get the player to come up!!!?????

Just did ... no go. It's definitely a player problem
Like I said, if I tab over to the AP video, the player loads. Same results in IE.
This is a bit perplexing. I normally don't have video problems ... especially conflicting problems on the same site
Is it the same player?

This is what it is:
Associated Press video: Star Tribune video: Same results Firefox and IE. Also when I pick a Star Tribune video, the page just flips to the top.

No, it's different.rick752 wrote:Is it the same player?
Hmm, maybe it helps if you clear Flash settings/cookies -> %AppData%\Macromedia\Flash Player (if you've never done this before, there will be MANY elements ) ?
BTW: This is the player: http://i32.tinypic.com/1446tg.png
