Fanboy's Annoyances list removes non-ad content on the left side of the page at http://www.howtogeek.com/. Just a bunch of lines are left that separated the articles. I should mention that I am using Adguard 5.10 and not ABP. Adguard 5.10 allows Easylist subscriptions but I believe AG does some minor converting so perhaps this is the problem.
Please fix? Thanks.
Fanboy's Annoyances
Seems to look fine in Adblock Plus, according to Adguard which filter is affecting the site?

All I know at this point is that this filter corrects my problem.. howtogeek.com#@#.entry
I also tried the Annoyance list with just ABP and just like you it didn't block it. As I said, AG does some massaging of EasyList rules and perhaps the resulting rule came out wrong. I posted this problem on AG's forum to see if they can figure out what the deal is.
This is the second time this sort of thing has happened to me.

I think I see what's going on. The filter that is blocking is geek.com##.entry. AG assumes that there is an * before and after the site name. I don't believe ABP does this.
I don't support Adguard, so if there is more false positives in Adguard (and not in Adblock Plus) You'll need to take it up with Adguard devs.
However I've removed the filter since its no longer needed
