Comcast webmail [fixed]

Post by ahappyuser »

I've found a problem with the following filter in EasyElement:
#*(id*=header-ad)

Unfortunately, this blocks the "To:" "Cc:" and "Subject:" fields for the Comcast webmail "Compose" form. If I delete the Easy Element filter subscription, then these fields are visible. This change has only appeared in the last day or so - until now, I've had ABP with EasyList/EasyElement working just fine.

Thanks in advance for your help and for a Great extension.

Ok .... I'll remove it now. I DID just add that. Would you happen to know exactly what the EXACT element is. Whether it is a DIV or TABLE or whatever .... and what the FULL name of "header-ad" is? I don't know whether you are knowledgeable about html or not. If not, that's ok. It's just that I have no way of seeing it because I am not on Comcast.

Hi Rick,

I'm not too knowledgeable about html, but I think this snippet is what was caught by that filter:

<div id="compose-header-address">

Hope this helps, and thanks for the quick response,

Ah ... perfect! :D

That's just what I was looking for. Now I can adjust it.
Thanx.
