Bravenet is a website that provides free message boards (and other stuff) to websites. Bravenet message boards used to be pretty popular; you don't see a lot these days but many websites still have them. They use some very intrusive advertising on their message boards, most notably a Javascript "popup"; it's unaffected by popup blocking because it merely overlays itself on top of it, but you have to click its "close" button in order to actually see the page. There's also usually a big vertical banner ad or various smaller ads in its place.
I recommend blocking the following entries to get rid of all advertising on Bravenet message boards:

http://mercury.bravenet.com/rover/
There's nothing in those directories except for various Javascripts, all of which are advertising-related or otherwise useless.

Note that the obnoxious Javascript overlay doesn't come up 100% of the time; there is probably a random element to it. There seems to be several different possible ad layouts. Some additional ads sometimes get pulled from offsite, but existing rules in the list already block those.
