Unable to remember what that particular advert was from earlier today however, you are correct it is currently blocking video ads.

If you try to watch a game through ESPN MLB Gamecast, e.g. http://www.espn.com/mlb/gamecast?gameId=370913105, the site tries to load a 30 second ad. The video gets blocked and doesn't play, but the ad never actually clears and thus you can never see the content underneath. Instead it just says "Advertisement: Gamecast will continue in..." and hangs there. Please note you can only see the behavior while a game is live, not after it ends. Screenshot here.

Oh, I should also mention that this happens with 3 different browsers, and if I whitelist Gamecast the video plays normally and the ad clears.

No issue for me (using uBo adblocker).
What adblocker (and version) are you using and what filter lists ? Also, what browser (version) ?
