Hello,
How do I block the Google Translate Strip on various pages (e.g.
http://www.door2windows.com/
)?
Code: Select all
||translate.googleapis.com/translate_a
used to work.
I'd appreciate your help.

Add
Code: Select all
||translate.google.$domain=~translate.google.com
~translate.google.com
is where google translation script is allowed.
Adblock Plus filter syntax

Hello smed79,
Thanks for replying. I appreciate it.
That rule does not work. The banner still shows up.
Best regards.

I was referring to the following banner:
https://s17.postimg.org/a30dkf0of/image.png
And I added the filter you suggested:
Code: Select all
||translate.google.$domain=~translate.google.com
Thank you.
BTW, why don't I get notified of new replies? - I've checked "Notify me..."

Code: Select all
||translate.googleapis.com/translate_a
Blocks that banner.
Inspecting uBlock Origin's logger I realized I had accidentally whitelisted door2windows.com.
My apologies. And thanks again for your kind help.

With my filter you will not see translate.googleapis.com at all.

Great. Thank you.
Code: Select all
||translate.google.$domain=~translate.google.com|~translate.google.LOCAL
Can I use a wildcard here?
I've reported in
viewtopic.php?p=120026#p120026.
Best regards.

No wildcard, the filter will only be applied to the exacte indicated domain(s).
e.g
/unwanted.$domain=~site.com|~site.fr
not
/unwanted.$domain=~site
or
/unwanted.$domain=~site.
or
/unwanted.$domain=~site.*
