Hi
Getting a persistent new tab opening when you click on the 'Play' icon to start a stream.
Seems to be a 2-stage process to start a stream, eg. on
Code: Select all
http://watch.crichd.com/euro-sport-1-live-streaming
When you click 'Click Here for Live Streaming', it takes you to
Code: Select all
http://cdn2.crichd.com/euro-sport-1-live-streaming
This page has a 'Play' icon. When you click that icon it generates a new browser tab filled with spam/ads. If you close the generated tab, you can then go back to the above page to start the stream
Can you please give me whatever custom filters are needed to either
- Start streams without having to go through the 2 stage process or, if not possible, then
- whatever is needed to prevent a new browser tab being created to start a stream.
Many thanks

Chrome v58.0.3029.110

Thanks for the quick reply - really appreciate it.
Filter seems to work but selectively eg. on
Code: Select all
http://cdn4.crichd.info/sky-sports-3-live-streaming
If you click the 'play' icon, it still generates a new spam/ad-filled browser tab?

They are using more servers, so add (replace the filter above by):
Code: Select all
||cloudfront.net$script,domain=crichd.com|crichd.info

Have tested the updated filter on a few streams and seems to work.
Thanks very much for your help. Much appreciated

and
No streams play when ABP is enabled. Only by disabling ABP can a stream be played, eg
Code: Select all
http://www.crichd.sc/eurosport-1-live-stream-uk
and
Code: Select all
http://watch.crichd.com/euro-sport-1-live-streaming
do not play with ABP enabled but do (with multiple ads, popups etc) if ABP is disabled.
What filters are needed to overcome this?
Thanks very much.

Update:- I disabled the AakList (Anti-Adblock Killer) filter list in ABP & installed the AAK-cont userscript in Tampermonkey, as suggested in a thread about
another site, but the streams still won't load.
What do I need to do or try?
Thank you

I tried
http://watch.crichd.com/euro-sport-1-live-streaming
In uBo (ublock origin). All fine here.
In the last chrome (62) you have to allow flash plugin for the site.
largeruk , could you test the site in uBo ?

I have added the filters you suggested but no joy. The site still won't load the stream with ABP enabled but does when ABP is disabled.
As a Chrome user, I cannot report the site issue via ABP and have been advised to seek further help here - see
https://adblockplus.org/forum/viewtopic ... 10&t=22521.
Many many thanks for any help you can offer.

Hi
Thanks for your advice. I have enabled flash in Chrome on
and
but no streams start.
Haven't used uBo. Would rather stick with ABP but may have to try it
