Damn, you're right.
This is vicious, they outright block Firefox and paleMoon completely.
Opera also doesn't work.

Hello,

So, I've come to meet a predicament where certain video hosting sites are now completely blocking people from interacting with the video player when Adblock is enabled.

I can't even access the play button at this point.

I'm not sure when this rolled out, but It's happened on a number of the related domains as listed in the title.

I didn't have this issue last week, so I can only assume it happened sometime between mid-late last week and now it's just affecting just about every domain I normally watch things from.

The only domain which seems to be safe (for now), is play44.net, which still allows me to watch stuff without showing me this: http://i.imgur.com/LXl0E7u.png

I opened the player/frame in a new tab, and disabled Adblock Plus on the page.

I ended up with this after waiting a bit: http://i.imgur.com/4EFxr2T.png

Still not usable.

To be clear, the first picture is of a playbb.me frame, and the second is of videowing.me.

Regardless, they all look the same. It's only when I disabled Adblock on the specific frame when I get what's in the second picture.

However, as I mentioned, it's still not working. Even when I click "close & play", the thing stops and doesn't load.

What do I do to bypass this, or is there no longer means to bypass this without disabling Adblock?

As I've come to mention, even though Adblock is disabled for the specific element, it still thinks I'm using Adblock on it.

Not sure what to do here.

I wanted to say that the same problem applies to videos on www.goodanime.co

I had the same success with the given filters as those above- they work for ABP in Chrome but not in Firefox.

Because Firefox doesn't work at all.
Not like that has any use for them, because Chrome people can simply block the ads.
The anti-adblock faction is growing pretty retarded and petty.

@smed79

Thanks. I guess we'll just have to see what happens down the road.

Hopefully this can get patched up eventually.

Hm, one of the players works again.
They either abandoned the horrible blocking, the site changed it (they look all the same, so I wouldn't know) or firefox + filter finally works for one.

Yeah, so far it seems that only that one seems to work on given playlists.

Unfortunately, when attempting to find a working playlist from the same source for an older series/movie, more than likely you won't find one.

I wish we could at least get some feedback as to what's going on.

The maintainers of these domains and their dependencies could at least do something to let us know of the situation.

More than that, I wish there was a legitimate way to contact these guys. The only thing they let us do is use their contact form, but I can't grab anything from that. Despite my attempts, I've never received feedback from these guys.

I'm starting to get pissed now because I can't watch anything on dramagalaxy.tv and goodrama.net unless it's something recent.

Anything that referenced from older domains seem to only have the fully blocked playlists still there.

Seems like they kicked out the offending players completely.
Consequent and the right decision.
