Is evaded by the site https://eztv.ag/ (clear cookie before trying to reproduce, reload, then click anywhere on the page) by using a data URI with a well-position blank space (right after data:):
Also, a suggestion: the filter should be |data:text/html;base64$popup to ensure efficient matching. The current version really means anywhere in the URL, preventing the matcher from bailing out out quickly if the filter does not match the beginning of a URL.

Nope, those filters aren't stopping the pop-ups for me in either Chrome or Edge with either the most recent AB or ABP.

hi, sorry for so late replay. i disabled everything but ublock and it worked. i dont know why it didnt work
