Blocking the following script should prevent pop ups

In thepiratebay.org first 2 clicks in page redirects to pop-under ads and opens thepiratebay.org in new tab.

Its scripted quite well. Script always relocates itself. Example links for this pop-under script

Code: Select all

https://thepiratebay.org/0123456789
https://thepiratebay.org/987654321
https://thepiratebay.org/asdfg11111
https://thepiratebay.org/aaaaaaaaaa
My filters for this pop-under

Code: Select all

||thepiratebay.org*$script
@@||thepiratebay.org/static/js/tpb.js
@@||thepiratebay.org/static/js/jquery.min.js

Apologies if this is a bit of a necro-post.

The following is caught by a generic filter:

Code: Select all

https://traffic.adxprts.com/ads/ads.js
Filter: /ads/ads.
It's not an ad script but an anti-adblock variable trick. The file contains one single line:

Code: Select all

var asjdebsbnhjx = true;
This variable controls the inline script that inserts the "random" script, and whitelisting causes the "random" script not to appear.

Code: Select all

@@||traffic.adxprts.com/ads/ads.js
Blocking or whitelisting scripts by domain is problematic in this instance because a significant chunk of users don't access the site directly, but rather do so through proxies with alternative URLs. This approach would mean filter maintainers being dragged into someone else's cat-and-mouse game.

Please add this:

Code: Select all

thepiratebay.org##div[class=ads]
It's covering GET THIS TORRENT magnet link.

I tried either set of these filters,
but whenever I open any tpb page -except the main one- (to reproduce, open any page in a Chrome incognito window),
if I click two times anywhere on the page,
then a popup like this opens: https://inadequal.com/Q1d2YUUiNRsV
and it redirects to web gambling sites.

Using Chrome 61 with ABP 1.33.3 and Firefox 55.0.3 with ABP 2.9.1.

In Firefox's case it opens:

Code: Select all

 javascript:window.opener=null;setTimeout(function(){window.location.href='//inadequal.com/
which is not currently recognized in ABP for Firefox (ticket #4800).

ABP 2.9.1 is deprecated. Use directly the last dev build (which is the current ABP for chrome)
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addo ... sions/beta

or just test uBo which deals much better with such sites.
