Essentially, initially, the ads were blocked with AB for Chrome, it would seem the web developers cottoned on and added a lovely "Love your local news?
Please turn off your ad-blocker." banner. It worked for a while filtering the ad on the page by removing the related div tag within AB, but once again they've figured this out and even this isn't working. Please, could you help us by removing this stupid, obstructive banner?
Also... if you'd like a laugh - take a look at the page with no AB on at all! Banner ads, popups, and auto-playing videos galore! A good bit of fun, and a bigger bit of bandwidth!
Thanks in advance!
