The author of Modaco.net/modaco.com has implemented an 'adblock detection' script that can be seen in action by visiting the site (or: http://www.modaco.com/content-page/2592 ... g/page/20/ ) and seeing the yellow bar that appears at the top of the page. Additionally, the "Sponsored Link" elements at the bottom of the page aren't removed.

I am subscribed to EasyList and EasyElement both. It would be nice if the sponsored links and the ugly yellow bar at the top of the page could be removed in a future version.

Thanks for all the work, I wouldn't browse the Internet without ABP & EasyList.

The admin isn't forcing anything on the user, no forwarding to a page telling us we can't view his page, or annoying popups.. Easy to remove using element hider, no biggy.

I don't make it a point to block those ... although I will usually publish a fix if the user wants to actually use it.

To block it:

Code: Select all

http://mickey.modaco.com/theexperiment/
To hide it:

Code: Select all

modaco.com##script[src*="mickey.modaco.com"] + div#slice
I'm sure both of those will be subject to change as they look like "tests" at the moment.
