Adblock Plus now #2 downloaded on AMO!

Adblock Plus has just hit a new milestone. It is now the #2 downloaded extension from the Mozilla Add-ons site and in close reach of attaining #1 status! :D

Congratulations to all involved .... both in here and at the Adblock Plus forums.

That's just for the weeks downloads. My understand is that it goes by totals right? That's how adblock stayed so long even after development had all but stopped (now seems to have stopped).

It used to, but not any more, Dogg ... now it goes by weekly downloads.

#3 FlashGot has 2.7 million downloads total.

Thanks Rick, I didn't know they had changed that. But I think that is the better way to do it myself. That's the way most things work in the world. Otherwise, in the case of Casey Casum announcing the top 10 hits, some songs would never leave the #1 spot.
