Congrats but the list has too bad filters & too unnecessary whitelisting filters :?
what is the purpose of this list, ads or privacy?

PS: Use Famlam script to check for redundant rules

You mean remove advertisment.

are these filters for ads blocking?

Code: Select all

/b/ss/*&ndh=
.net/p.gif?
.com/track?
/pixel.gif?
/px.gif?
Also at the bottom of the list i see an "Anti Tracker" section !!

this is to avoid tracing, because I get tested without the easylist and some filtering of the other

You mean EasyPrivacy?

What about these kind of below filters? (Do the same thing and incorrectly break the website home page).

Code: Select all

||*.taboola.com^
||taboola.com^

Needs to work with Easylist, less generic ad elements and more Brazil filters. Also needs more optimised filters.

@Invisible666

To get your list more clear I suggest that you use the same filters list template of EasyList.

e.g

Code: Select all

&act=ads_
!
!------------------General element hiding rules--------------------------!
!
###Ad160x600
!
!------------------Third-party advertisers-------------------------------!

!
!------------------Third-party advertisers popup-------------------------!
!
||0755.pics^$popup,third-party
!
!------------------Specific advert blocking filters----------------------!
!
||000webhost.com/images/banners/
!
!------------------Specific element hiding rules-------------------------!
!

The list needs lots of trimming, limit the list to Brazil sites. Too many generic filters, free-apis whitelist (wtf?). Look at other other regional lists, such as Easylist Germany and Italy, compare with this list.

It's because in Brazil specifically free movie sites, they use api and foreign servers to host the video files, so I've put exceptions, because I get the site and block massive ads by url.
example: $script,domain=site.com this blocks the ad url but blocks the site file, so I have to free the files to work.

Your whitelist filters can be abused for that you should be more specific and use restriction $domain option (e.g f1548c04f0).

for example, how are you doing to block the below urls?

Code: Select all

http://example.com/static/js/jwplayer.js-ads.js
http://ads.example.com/static/js/jwplayer.js

The free hosting sites you use aren't reliable in the long-term.

Use a version control system such as Github or Gitlab instead, so that the list can become more transparent and reliable.
