Block autoplay on YouTube

Is there any filter rule that I could use that would block autoplay on YouTube?

While not necessarily a filter, a nice firefox addon called FlashBlock will do just what you want. (I've been a user of this nice addon since the early 00's)

I am using Flashblock, but it doesn't have any YouTube autoplay setting.

You can disable it from the top right corner on yourtube. Just switch the autoplay button off!

Having to do that every new session or after clearing cookies is annoying, that's why I want a permanent solution. I'll probably get an add-on or a userscript for it.

Perhaps you're looking for fine grained control. Try this one:

In Chrome I use Tampermonkey extension - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... ldmpobfkfo
But any extension that do the same as Tampermonkey should work, in theory.
