Broad whitelists in Enhanced Tracking

Post by barbaz »

The whitelist filters

Code: Select all

@@/ots_omniture_code.js
@@/thePlatform-omniture-core.js
seem awfully broad. After some digging, looks like they were added in https://hg.fanboy.co.nz/rev/c14a1892f30e and https://hg.fanboy.co.nz/rev/c31a97c06f4c.
Realistically, is it possible to narrow those down a bit (at least to first-party only or specific domain/s) and still have them serve their purpose?
Thanks in advance. :)

It would unmaintainable with the amount of domains it would cover, and it wasn't a privacy issue.
