It was added in https://hg.adblockplus.org/easylist/rev/25f9c482cf14 OK, so I guess this was added in order for the player to still be functional. But now, could you please test again without this whitelist filter? Sure. It didn't make any difference here either. Both with and without that whitelis...

Those are not duplicates - the first does not block pop ups, the second does not block anything included by / embedded in a page.

Just realized that since I also use EasyList without element hiding rules and EasyPrivacy, another solution to this could be to offer Fanboy Complete list without element hiding rules. That also has the added benefit of making subscription management easier, as there would be two less entries to kee...
